How do I make a hotel reservation online with CasaParticulars.com?

Making an online reservation is easy. Just complete the reservations making sure that you have given your e-mail address in the booking form. This request will be received by the hostel owner or representative directly who must confirm the reservation.

Please make sure that all the booking details are correct so as to avoid problems during check-in. Important points are the number of adults and number of children, which intend to occupy the room, the nationalities involved, the ages of the children, etc.

What happens when the reservation request is received?

  • The hostel owner/manager receives your request and checks whether your chosen hostel is available for the dates you have requested and also confirm the prices.
  • If the hostel is not available, the hostel manager might offer you an alternative hostel within a similar price range, standard, rating and location or you can come back to our website to choose a different hostel.
  • If you are not satisfied with the alternative booking, then please contact the hostel manager straight away to cancel the reservation.

How do I know that I have a CONFIRMED room reservation?

Once the room is confirmed by the hostel owner/manager, he must send you by email a confirmation voucher detailing all the reservation and price conditions. We invite you to make printout of this voucher to be kept and presented at the time of your check-in.

Can I make a reservation directly through a hostel?

All reservations are made directly to the hostel through our system. We facilitate confirmed bookings into accommodation. We do not own or run the properties themselves. Every effort is made to ensure properties process your bookings correctly. It is the responsibility of the property you booked, to provide you with the accommodation.

What credit cards and other methods of payment can I use?

All the hostels in our network accept only cash in Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUC). You can use credit cards to withdraw money in Cuba though you must be aware that credit cards issued by American Banks are not allowed.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel your booking up to two days before your arrival date. Please do so directly with the property which you have booked.
